From business requirements down to production.

I'm CIO and Head of Engineering at Speakeasy, where I lead the engineering team and run day-to-day DevOps for a SaaS platform that helps venues sell tickets and tables, manage guests at the door, and stay connected with their customers.

I also own Ryse Software, Vitality South, Active DataComm, and Wire Safe Solutions in Tupelo, Mississippi, which provide custom software development, marketing, IT managed services, and structured cabling and security systems. Our teams build custom software and technology solutions for businesses that need more than off-the-shelf tools. We treat IT as something that should move a business forward, not just keep the lights on, and we learn how a business works before we apply technology to it.

My work: understand the problem, build the right thing, and make it dependable. I care about clean architecture, observability, security by default, and teams that communicate well.
